Dallas costumed party characters work a kids’ table hour or a short cameo after dinner when wedding planning includes children at the reception.
Wedding planning here is full-service, start to finish. We arrange the venue, the catering and food, guest hotel help, floral, tableware and rentals, room layout, décor, the day’s timeline, and vendor coordination on the day. Characters and costumed entertainment can be added for kids’ tables and receptions. We handle everything, from the venue and food down to the napkins and silverware.

What wedding planning includes
Indoor and outdoor weddings both sit on this desk. Ballroom setups, hotel venues, and other indoor or outdoor locations are part of the venue work. We help with hotel venues and guest accommodations when the guest list is traveling in. Catering and food means we arrange the menu and the catering for the event, not a list of dishes you have to assemble yourself.
Floral covers bouquets, centerpieces, and floral design. Tableware and rentals cover linens, napkins, silverware, plates, glassware, and everything on the table. Setup and coordination cover room layout, décor, the timeline, and vendor coordination on the day. A nationwide certificate of insurance is something we carry. Venues and hotels often require it; we state that on the call so the facility file is complete.
Characters and costumed entertainment are optional on top of that plan. A princess visit, a caped superhero, or a gentle mascot can run a kids’ table hour or a short cameo after dinner. Photos happen at a side room or a corner of the hall, not in the aisle. The ceremony stays yours. The kids’ block is a timed window that sits after dinner and before the last song unless you name a different hour.
Indoor, outdoor, ballroom, and hotel receptions
A ballroom needs a floor plan, a head table, a kids’ table if children are invited, and a service door if a costume is part of the night. A hotel reception needs the same plan plus guest rooms and a loading path for rentals and floral. An outdoor wedding needs shade or a tent decision, a backup indoor room with the same venue, and a table setting that holds in a breeze. We set those pieces with the date, not after the invitations go out.
Dallas, Richardson, Plano, Irving, and Frisco venues sit on the same DFW routes. Saturday evenings in spring and fall book early. A Friday lunch reception is easier to place. If the save-the-date already went out, still call. We work the timeline you already have and fill the gaps: catering, floral, rentals, and day-of setup.

Kids’ tables and costumed hours
Receptions with cousins in the room need more than crayons. Tell us guest count, whether children sit at their own table, and when dinner ends. A character who arrives during the first dance collides with the floor. A character who arrives after cake can hold the kids while adults take the floor. Most couples want that block after dinner and before the last song. Some want a morning visit at a hotel suite for the flower girls: quieter, shorter, and off the ballroom floor. Name which of those you want on the first call.
The performer greets the children, runs a short set of games or a story, takes photos, and leaves through the service door you named. Vendors already on the floor need a heads-up: the DJ, the photographer, and the venue captain should know which door the costume uses and which ten minutes are the kids’ block. If you want the character in a family photo, pick a corner away from the cake.
How wedding planning works with us
The flow is simple and stays in that order unless the venue forces a swap. First call: date, guest count, indoor or outdoor, and whether you want characters at the reception. Venue and date: ballroom, hotel, or outdoor location, plus guest accommodations when the hotel is part of the stay. Catering and menu: we arrange the food and the catering. Floral and décor: bouquets, centerpieces, and the look of the room. Rentals and table settings: linens, napkins, silverware, plates, glassware, everything on the table. Day-of setup and coordination: room layout, the timeline, vendor coordination, and the certificate of insurance on file with the venue.
That last item is plain: we carry a nationwide certificate of insurance. Hotels and venues often require it before load-in. We send it when the facility asks. The rest of the day follows the timeline from the first call: ceremony, dinner, kids’ hour if you booked one, and a clean close.
Call with the date and whether you want full planning, a character hour, or both. When you have that, contact us or call (469) 998-6960. We put the wedding on the book and run the plan from venue and food down to the napkins and silverware.
